From an early age,
Shantha discovered a passion for driving and the freedom, skill, and responsibility it brings. With years of experience in customer service and working with students, he followed his true calling—helping others learn to drive with confidence. For over eight years, Shantha has guided hundreds of learners in Hamilton and the surrounding area, earning the trust of students and parents alike.
In April 2024, inspired by his students’ success and with the support of his wife, Shyamalee, he founded Jewel Driving School—an MTO-approved school built on expertise, patience, and care. Today, Jewel Driving School combines professional instruction with a warm, supportive environment, helping every student—whether brand new or experienced—feel safe, capable, and confident behind the wheel.
