Driving School Terms and Conditions
- General Information
- These Terms and Conditions govern the services provided by Jewel Driving School.
- By booking or attending driving lessons with us, you agree to these terms.
- We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time.
- Eligibility for Lessons
- Students must hold a valid learner’s permit or provisional license before starting lessons.
- Students must be physically and mentally fit to drive.
- Any medical conditions that may affect driving ability must be disclosed.
- Bookings and Payments
- All lessons must be booked in advance via phone or text.
- Payment must be made before or at the time of the lesson, unless otherwise arranged.
- Package deals must be fully paid upfront and are non-transferable.
- Cancellations and Rescheduling
- 24-hour notice is required to cancel or reschedule a lesson without penalty.
- Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged at the full lesson rate.
- The school reserves the right to reschedule lessons due to instructor illness, vehicle issues, or unsafe weather conditions.
- Refund Policy
- Refunds are only available for unused prepaid lessons, minus any administrative fees.
- No refunds for lessons already taken.
- Package deals may not be fully refundable if lessons have been partially used.
- Lesson Conduct
- Students must arrive on time. Late arrival may result in the lesson being shortened.
- Instructors have the right to terminate a lesson if a student is under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
- Students must follow the instructions of the instructor for safety.
- Test Bookings
- The school can assist with booking driving tests but cannot guarantee test dates or results.
- Use of the driving school’s vehicle for a driving test is subject to instructor approval.
- Liability
- The driving school is not responsible for any traffic violations or penalties incurred during a lesson caused by student negligence.
- The driving school will not be liable for test failures, but instructors will ensure students are test-ready.
- Insurance
- All vehicles are fully insured for driving lessons.
- Students are covered by the school’s insurance while driving during lessons.
- Privacy Policy
- Any personal information collected (e.g., name, phone, email) will be kept confidential and used solely for booking and communication purposes.
- Complaints
- Any complaints should be submitted in writing to jewelds1023@gmail.com and will be addressed promptly.
